What a pleasure to have stumbled upon thjs impromptu sidewalk performance while strolling along Christopher St. on the first night of Pride Week on this its 50th anniversary. These joyous voices filled the air stopping everyone who passed and even drawing poeple in from blocks away. Reminded us all how lucky we are to be living in this magical city, where we can be as we are, where we want to be, and with whom we so choose. Let it also remind us to give thanks and gratitude to all the men and women who sacrificed and fought and even gave their lives, for us to live as our truest selves in the open and without fear of prosecution and danger or harm. The work continues, the march goes onward. But oh how far we've come thanks to the music makers and the status quo shakers that came before to whom we say Thank You!!!
