The annual Pride March in NYC made it's triumphant post covid return this Sunday June 26th, 2022 and I was lucky enough, once again, to have media access allowing me to shoot from within the barricades of the 52nd march, which was watched LIVE by nearly 3 million people! It was an exhilarating day, packed with a deep sense of urgency  given last week's Supreme Court decision to reverse Roe Vrs Wade, and an overwhelming feeling of impending vulnerability to the liberties such as Gay Marriage threatened by Justice Thomas' statement regarding the precedent and relevancy of the Roe Vrs. Wade on other controversial  decisions regarding many issues of equality and gay and trans issues. In a last minute change Planned Parenthood was invited to lead the parade. Above all else though was a resounding cheer of PRIDE that was so loud and excited it could certainly be heard up in the International SPace Station.
